IRRV Performance Awards 2017

The 2017 Performance Awards Scheme looks to build upon the successful schemes of recent years. There are ten categories in 2017; three ‘Team’ and seven ‘Excellence’.

The on- going changes in the profession are reflected in the categories, whilst the updated criteria for each category ensures organisations are aware on what is being looked for by the Awards Panel.

The closing date for submissions was Friday, 2 June 2017 and unlike other Awards Schemes, the deadline was not extended. The Awards Panel meets on Wednesday, 14 June 2017 to consider the submissions and agree on those organisations who have been short-listed for a visit. The list of finalists will be released in W/C 19 June 2017.

Inspections will be carried out in July, August and early September before the Awards Panel meets again to consider reports from the Inspection Teams. The Performance Awards Gala Dinner (when the winners in each category will be announced and trophies presented) is to be held during the IRRV Annual Conference on Wednesday, 4th October 2017.

In addition to there being an overall winner in each category, the Awards Panel may also recognise other finalists as being ‘highly commended’. These will also be announced at the Gala Dinner.

Organisations selected as a finalist will receive two complimentary places to attend the Annual Conference (including the Gala Dinner). An organisation short-listed in more than one category will receive a further complimentary place for each additional category.

The virtual awards village will be held on the IRRV web site. This will include a summary of the submissions from each finalist. Details of awards schemes from previous years can also be found on the IRRV web site.
