The IRRV is the largest professional institution operating in the field of revenues, benefits and valuation. Every year, hundreds of students sit IRRV examinations. Nominal Letters: Membership gives you the opportunity to gain professional recognition within your industry through post nominal letters: ‘FIRRV’ for Fellow members, ‘IRRV’ (Hons) for Honours Members, ‘IRRV (Dip)’ for Diploma Members, ‘IRRV’ for Corporate Members and ‘IRRV (Tech)’ for Technician Members. (Note: only current members of the Institute are eligible to quote these letters).
Journals: Members receive our own magazine, Insight, packed with interesting features, faculty reviews, current news, book reviews and letters. Additionally, members receive our quarterly journal ‘Valuer’, devoted to valuation and all its aspects. The magazines are available either electronically or in hard copy.
Conferences and Professional meetings: The IRRV provides high quality conferences and professional meetings for people involved in local government taxation, benefits and public and private sector valuation. Members receive discounts at all events.
Faculties: Benefits, Local Taxation & Revenues, Investigation and Valuation faculties provide specialised support for practitioners working in their respective fields.
Associations and Networks: The Institute’s associations are active throughout the UK. The associations organise programmes of professional and social activities that take place regionally and provide the opportunity for members to become more involved in the work of the Institute at a local level.
