Buckinghamshire Council Revenues & Benefits team has achieved remarkable outcomes since their formation in April 2020 and continue to make year-on-year improvements, both in performance but also in the service provided to residents. The team has proven itself to be innovative, adaptable, and effective in the face of huge changes and challenges. The team have delivered excellent collection rates and exceeded their ambitious targets. The team have continued to embrace new ideas and technologies, introducing a chat bot, SMS recovery text messaging, housing benefit overpayments attachment of earnings robotics and the NEC campaigns module to deliver SPD reviews. These have not only improved performance outcomes but also made services more accessible and efficient for residents. It is the first full financial year on a single system with a unified team and the figures speak for themselves. Buckinghamshire Council continue to build on this impressive record.
