The government is providing councils with an extension to the core council tax rebate until 30 November 2022. This letter provides further detail on this extension, as well as information on the latest monitoring data for both the core council tax rebate and discretionary fund. The letter also provides an update on how councils should handle payments which have been found to be ineligible.
