Lord Evans wrote to Rt Hon Michael Gove MP, Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, to request an update on the government’s consideration of the recommendations in Regulating Election Finance, the 2021 report of the Committee on Standards in Public Life.
Baroness Scott of Bybrook OBE, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Faith & Communities replied, as the minister responsible for the election finance rules.
