This workshop is designed for officers who have an involvement in recovery of council tax and / or non-domestic rate. It will focus on the consequences of the decision in ‘R (On the application of the Reverend Paul Nicholson) and Tottenham Magistrates 2015’ regarding costs that can be applied for by a billing authority at a liability order hearing.
The workshop will be delivered by David Magor OBE IRRV (Hons) and Gary Watson IRRV (Hons), Deputy Chief Executive. It will be a practical day (starting at 10.30am and finishing at 3.00pm) with the afternoon consisting of on an open forum sharing best / good practice.
