Employ Ability Launched in Parts of the Country

How to Employ ability.

Don't miss out on the talent that disabled people and people with long-term health conditions have to offer.

Just like you, disability is very individual. And just like you, disabled people have skills, abilities and talents that should be recognised and used. So the next time you're recruiting, remember there's a wide range of potential out there.

Employ ability is for managers and employers who want to know how they can use the talent and skills of disabled people and those with long-term health conditions. Practical information and support is available to help make employing and retaining disabled people as easy as possible.

Research from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development shows that almost two third of businesses believe that having a diverse pool of talent contributes to the bottom line.

Managers who are positive about employing disabled people look at the capabilities and potential of every individual, regardless of whether they are disabled or have a long term health condition. By doing this you will help to grow the talent that will benefit your business in the future.
