    It is with huge sadness we report the  passing of a popular member of the Institute, Andy Bamber.  (Pictured at last years conference)

    Andy worked in Revenues at several councils in Lancashire, beginning his career at Wyre BC before moving to South Ribble and Chorley. In 2023 he became  Revenues Manager at    Preston and Lancaster City Councils.  He was a long standing member of the Institute and a member of the     Lancashire & Cheshire      Association Executive since 2019, most          recently being Assistant Secretary.

    Andy was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in March 2024.  He faced this diagnosis with such determination – despite knowing this was going to be an almost impossible challenge, he did this for his girls – his wife Louise, and his daughters Amy, Melissa and Ruby. 

    The Association Executive are all devastated at the loss of a colleague, a friend, a true professional and gentleman who really cared about what he did and for those around him.

  • Our Flagship event of the Year at the Mecure Haydock Hotel

  • Please find enclosed details and a draft agenda for the 2025 Lancashire & Cheshire IRRV Association AGM to be held at The Merchant Room, Dukes 92, 18-20 Castle Street, Castlefield, Manchester, M3 4LZ on Friday 25th April 2025.

    Tea and coffee will be available from 1.30pm, with the meeting commencing at 2.00pm, and lunch available following the meeting.

    If you are planning to attend the meeting and have not confirmed already, please inform Lisa Ashworth at lisa.ashworth@horsfields.co.uk beforehand, and indicate whether or not you will be staying for lunch once the meeting has concluded.  Please also include details of any dietary requirements.
