    The newly appointed Chancellor, John Healey, has announced the Autumn Budget will take place this year on Wednesday, 28 October 2026. It will be a Budget that moves money and power out of Westminster and into every postcode around Britain. 

    An experienced Panel will reflect on the Budget and discuss its implications on our Profession. They will also take the opportunity to consider what may lie ahead for the Profession in the weeks and months ahead. 

    The Panel will consist of:-

    • Zoe Kent, Head of Revenues & Benefits, Mid Kent Services
    • Mark Fearn, Customer Engagement Lead (Revenues, Income Recovery & Debt), Walsall Council
    • Andrew Hetherton, Director, Andrew Hetherton Consulting Ltd
    • Richard Harbord, Managing Consultant, MRF UK Ltd

    There will be an opportunity for the attendees to ask questions of the Panel during the meeting.

However, it does reserve the right to make changes to advertised programmes and to cancel / re-schedule events. In the unlikely event of an event being cancelled / re-scheduled, either a full refund will be made or alternatively, any fee paid will be credited against a future booking. The Institute will not be liable for any travel and / or accommodation costs incurred by the attendee should an event be cancelled / re-scheduled.
