24 April, Virtual
10am - 12.30pm
As we move into the next financial year the cost of living crises will become more critical and local authorities will have to think carefully how they manage the Discretionary Housing Payments. This seminar aims to assist authorities in this decision making process. The programme is directed toward those who administer the scheme. It is a detailed analysis of all aspects of the legislative framework and the challenges facing those who have responsibility for distributing the funds. The content will be delivered by experienced practitioners who have day to day responsibility for the scheme in their local authorities together with leading members of the Institute who understand the wider issues relating to the delivery of discretionary schemes and the budget implications associated with the funding.
The webinar will start at 10am and last approx 2.5 hours.
