This notice sets out the policy that the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government will follow when revising official statistics. Publication of this policy is a requirement of Practice T3.9 of the Code of Practice for Statistics.
MHCLG aims to avoid the need for unscheduled revisions to statistical publications unless they are absolutely necessary and has put quality assurance processes in place in order to minimise the possibility of such revisions.
