This document details the department’s approach to the monitoring and evaluation of the Levelling Up Fund and is intended to inform the public and stakeholders of the rationale behind the evaluation and the eventual outputs it will produce.
The aim of this document is to set out a strategy that sets out the problem analysis and theory of change for the fund and provides a set of activities, methodologies and evaluation approaches that can help us better understand what works and why, thereby supporting the implementation future Levelling up interventions.
