Supported housing is accommodation where residents are provided with care, support and/or supervision to help them live as independently as possible:

Providers of supported housing could be:

  • local authorities (LAs)
  • registered social landlords (RSLs)
  • housing associations
  • charities and other voluntary organisations
  • private landlords
