Details

Streamlined Routes are a type of subsidy scheme made by UK government for use by any UK public authority.

Public authorities can use this voluntary tool to award subsidies without the need to assess any subsidies given under the Streamlined Route against the subsidy control principles.

We have published these draft documents for public authorities and other stakeholders to familiarise themselves with the 3 Streamlined Routes ahead of final publication in January 2023.

These routes are for use in the following 3 areas:

  • research, development and innovation
  • energy usage
  • local growth

Each document provides the Streamlined Route material accompanied by an explanatory guidance document.
