Summary:

This page links to information on the Localism Bill, which was introduced to Parliament on 13 December 2010. It will shift power from central government back into the hands of individuals, communities and councils. It will provide the enduring legislative foundation for a new, decentralised Britain, where power is returned to the local institutions, communities and people to which it belongs.
