LAIOG (Local Authority Investigation Officers Group) has announced their 2013 Conference:
‘Fraud Investigation in the Public Sector’.
The event will be held in Birmingham at the Council House on the 8th and 9th of May. The conference is being held in association with the IRRV and will appeal to all those with an interest in addressing Public Sector fraud.
The key fraud associations are participating; Audit Commission and National Anti-Fraud Network’s RIPA Road show. The event will also include speakers from the Chartered Institute of Housing, DCLG, LGA and the Cabinet Office. Not to be missed is the DWP’s Single Fraud Investigation Service, Implementation Team with updates from the 4 SFIS Pilot Sites!
LAIOG’s membership includes 370 UK Local Authorities, and provides support and training to approx. 2000 registered Fraud Managers, Investigations Officers, Corporate Fraud Managers, and Benefit Fraud Investigators.
A 2-day conference pass is £150 + VAT for IRRV & LAIOG members and £199 + VAT for non-members. Day passes are available for £99 + VAT.
