The Insolvency Service - Bank Accounts for Bankrupts
Following the earlier ‘Bank Accounts for Bankrupts’ consultation and the Government response committing to changing insolvency law (applicable to England & Wales) when Parliamentary time allowed, we now have a legislative slot and the proposed change is part of the Deregulation Bill. We are amending a trustee’s ability to claim against a bank, to help more bankrupts access bank accounts.
