2013-14 National non-domestic rates mid-year review
Following to my previous emails about the mid-year review form, please find attached a copy of the Mid-year Forecast 2013-14 (v1.2) form along with the associated guidance notes about how the form should be completed. You should use the latest data available to you to complete the form.
A number of cells are prefilled with data taken from your final 2013-14 NNDR1, submitted in January 2013, and a number of cells are automatically calculated with the form. Please do not try to overwrite these cells.
The form should be completed and returned to DCLG by email to nndr.statistics@communities.gsi.gov.uk. A copy of the form should also be sent to all your major precepting authorities for information.
The form should be completed and returned as soon as possible, and by Wednesday 13 November at the latest. There is no requirement for a signed copy of the form to be submitted.

This information will be useful to both yourself, as you start to think about your 2014-15 budgets, central Government and the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR), who will find it helpful to have more recent estimates.
As stated in previous emails, although we are asking for revised estimates for 2013-14, this is not an opportunity to revise payment schedules on the back of those forecasts. These are fixed for the remainder of the year.
Finally, please can you ensure that the NNDR contacts in neighbouring authorities are aware of this email - we occasionally find contacts change and emails do not reach their intended recipients.
