Guidance for local authorities about the operation and provision of retail relief.
The government is providing funding for a business rates discount of up to £1000 in 2014 to 2015 and of up to £1500 in 2015 to 2016, to all occupied retail properties with a rateable value of £50,000 or less. This document provides guidance to authorities about the operation and delivery of that retail relief.
