We would like you to tell us what additional Universal Credit statistics you would like us to develop in the future and what you would use this additional information for.
This will help us to identify and prioritise the future development of Universal Credit statistics, subject to the availability and quality assurance of the data.
These monthly experimental statistics include the total number of people:
- who have made a claim for Universal Credit to 10 August 2017
- who have made a claim and have attended an initial interview, accepted their claimant commitment, and gone on to start Universal Credit up to 10 August 2017
- who are on Universal Credit to 10 August 2017
The statistics are broken down by:
- Jobcentre Plus office
- age
- employment status
- conditionality regime
This month’s publication also includes statistics for households on Universal Credit up to 8 June 2017. This shows the number of households and average monthly award amounts broken down by:
- Jobcentre Plus office
- entitlement components
- payment indicator
- family type
This release also includes information on tenure and payments to landlords, for households receiving support for housing costs.
