I am writing let you know that our check and challenge service will be offline from 5pm on Wednesday 31 January and will be back online around 1am on Thursday 1 February.
The release we’re implementing mainly adds features for our colleagues but it will add further improvements to the operation of the service for customers as we provide some bug fixes.
Alongside this, we’ve also made changes to the ‘reason for Check’ page, to make it clearer for ratepayers to give an indication of what has prompted them to initiate the process, as this will help us handle their case more efficiently.
We’ve also added in a ‘validity’ question when someone tries to submit a Challenge, to help them realise they need to complete a Check to agree the facts before they can query the valuation.
We are planning the next stage of delivery for the API and will share information on that in the near future.
