These monthly experimental statistics include the total number of people:
- who have made a claim for Universal Credit to 8 March 2018
- who have made a claim and have attended an initial interview, accepted their claimant commitment, and gone on to start Universal Credit up to 8 March 2018
- who are on Universal Credit to 8 March 2018
The statistics are broken down by:
- Jobcentre Plus office
- age
- employment status
- conditionality regime
DWP are currently investigating a discrepancy with duration on Universal Credit. While we assess the scale of this issue we have removed this breakdown from Stat-Xplore. Caution should be used when viewing this breakdown via other mechanisms (such as supplementary tables).
An issue regarding data on Jobcentre Plus offices where Universal Credit hasn’t been fully rolled out is being investigated and therefore should be treated with caution.
