This report presents findings from 2 waves of tracking research with recent Universal Credit full service claimants.
This report presents findings from 2 waves of surveys with a representative sample of recent Universal Credit full service claimants. The surveys examined how well new claimants understand the Universal Credit claim process and their rights and responsibilities, with a view to meeting their information needs.
1,586 Universal Credit claimants were interviewed in wave 1 of the survey during October and November 2017. 1,445 different Universal Credit claimants were interviewed in wave 2 of the survey during May and June 2018.
This research was commissioned to develop a range of performance indicators for Universal Credit full service and to track understanding and knowledge of the main elements of the Universal Credit claim.
