JOBS ONLINE

The IRRV online jobs site enables employers to advertise their vacancies as and when they arise. Single adverts may be posted, or if two or more are to be posted  unlimited access over a specified period may be purchased. All jobs are displayed on our website until the application closing date, on both the Jobs page and on the homepage, and they also appear on Twitter. Users of the IRRV Forum and Benefit Advisory Services can advertise jobs on the IRRV Web Site as part of their subscription package, and we invite those members to make free use of our site for their adverts.

More details on how to use the service can be found at http://www.irrv.info/jobs/cost.asp.

The latest jobs within the profession can be found on the home page of the IRRV Web Site or at http://www.irrv.info/jobs/

BENEFITS ADVISORY SERVICE

In a changing Benefits world the IRRV Benefits Advisory Service offers “Benefit” magazine, an online Resource Centre that keeps users up to date, discounts on IRRV publications and events, the Technical Advisory Service and more.

Full details of the Benefit Advisory Service can be found at http://lsctirrv.co.uk/about/index.php

MEMBERSHIP

The Institute, as a prominent and prestigious membership body, represents its members’ interests and promotes their professional development. Non-members are invited to consider joining under one of the available categories.

Honours membership is the main professional category, open to those who have passed the Institute’s Honours assessment or (previously) the Full Professional Qualification; members and Fellows of the RICS; and (subject to approval) qualified accountants in the most senior executive positions in local government. Other  Senior practitioners in suitable posts may apply for Corporate membership, which grants the right to use the letters “IRRV”. Those eligible to apply include Senior Financial Officers, Client Officers in government, heads of revenues and benefits and senior post holders in appropriate public sector posts.  Applicants should have held their post for a substantial period (normally a minimum of five years). Professional Valuers in both the UK and overseas may also apply for this category. All applications are individually considered.

Full details of all membership categories can be found at http://irrv.net/homenew/page.php?wid=5
