Local Employment Partnerships (LEPs) are an exciting new collaboration between Government and business to tackle the increasing recruitment and skills challenges of our labour market and economy. Employers across the country have signed up to working in partnership with Government to open up opportunities for people who, for whatever reason, have not yet been able to take advantage of the employment opportunities that are out there.
By 2010, Local Employment Partnerships ( 748KB)will help into jobs more than 250,000, realising the untapped potential of those whose ability and talent has been too often overlooked in the past.
We are asking you, as an employer, to make a deal with Government, and to offer people opportunities to get back into the workplace and progress - through for example interviews, mentoring, on the job training or work trials. In return, we will ensure you have the chance to recruit people you might not have considered who are eager to work and have the core skills that you need. We will make sure that links up to support to help you give them the job-related skills they need. This really is a recruitment solution that you can’t afford to ignore:
Our experienced account managers will work with you to make sure that we really understand your business and recruitment requirements, and to draw up a tailored partnership agreement that delivers the best results for everyone involved. Once your agreement is in place, we will do all we can to find you the right candidates with the right attitude, when you need them.
