We provide early caseload estimates for the following working age inactive benefit client groups in DWP monthly statistical summaries:

  • lone parents receiving Income Support
  • Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) and incapacity benefit claimants receiving ESA, Incapacity Benefit, Severe Disablement Allowance, Income Support or Pension Credit
  • ESA and incapacity benefit claimants receiving National Insurance credits only

Early caseload estimates for working age inactive benefit client groups are published in monthly DWP statistical summaries. The latest early caseload estimates were released on 18 February 2015.
