Get involved running events for UK Older People’s Day 2008 to celebrate the lives of older people.
Working together with local organisations, charities, councils and faith groups, we hope to see events and activities taking place across the country.

Make sure local people know about your involvement in Older People’s Day 2008. Use the press release and poster templates to publicise your event.

Tell us about your event
We want to ensure everyone in the country can find an event near them and will publicise events on the Directgov website.
- Make sure people can find out about your event on Directgov. Email us to tell us:
- Your name
- Organisation name
- Title of event
- Date of event
- Time of event
- Venue with full address
- Description of event (max 50 words please)
- Additional information (for example ticket price if you are charging for admission)
- Anticipated number of attendees or participants:
- Fewer than 20
- Between 20 and 30
- Between 30 and 50
- More than 50
- Not sure
